37 weeks pregnant cols sore?

Ok this is very weired...but I was in the hospital last night I have pre-eclapsia and I'm very animic they but me on full blown bed rest till I can see my dr tomorow...I lost my mucus plug this morning but the wired thing is...is sometime between when I feel asleep last night ant when I got up this morning I had a full blown cold sore on my bottom lip....I'm 22 and have never in my life had one befor...is this normal??? Should I call my dr?? I see them tomorrow at 130...I haven't told them I lost my mucus plug either I was gonna tell them tomorrow...but this cold sore hurts real bad....
