GParted Live CD won't boot!?

Ok so I recently installed Ubuntu 11.04 but I didn't realize that I only allocated 17 GB of space to Ubuntu and now I really need to resize my partitions. I burned the 'gparted-live-0.8. 1-3.iso' file to a blank CD but my computer wouldn't boot it even though the boot order puts CD above Hard Drive. I'm at my wit's end at this point so any help would be greatly appreciated.
