This summer I decided I needed more help and more exposure to competetive play since my High School is only a single A school, so I decided to join the new AAU team my hometown was putting together for the first time this year. To be honest, we suck, we have only had one tournament, and lost the first two games by 30pts or more, and won the last game by forfeit because the team we were gonna play lost 54 to 1. But anyway, in the tournament, I scored 10pts in the first game against a team called SQBA, ant then I scored 12 in my second against the "Young Ballerz" so I guess thats 11ppg, I also had 2apg and 4rpg in this tournament. So if I continue to practice my all around game, will I have any future in basketball? Like how far do you think I could get? Ok so I have a Toshiba laptop and lately we have been finding ants hiding in between the keys. okay so im trying to install windows xp from a usb because i have a netbook. i also wanted to allocate some more space for the C: drive because it was using 40gb of space and my D: had 100gb. so i deleted both of the partitions i saw. now when i create both partitions i try to go to the install thing in the menu and it says do you want to format? i put yes then after the windows xp professional set up screen it basically says i dont have enough space. and then it says setup was unable to locate such a drive with the required amount of free space. and when i hit enter it reboots my pc. what am i doing wrong? how do i create the partitions to where i can have more in my C drive or atleast getting my computer back to running again? am i suppose to make a extended? i just want my c drive and d drives back. i also tried making the drive active. please help i just want my netbook to run again.

Hi, I remember when I was a little kid I watched a movie. I remember it's plot being like a baby walks to the backyard and discovers a tunnel hole. Than the baby leans in to the tunnel hole and accidentally slips in to the tunnel. Than I think if i remember well the baby was stuck under the tunnel for like 3 months or something like that. I currently use iTunes as the central media hub for my home. I have Apple TV units in each room, and use Home Sharing to stream media throughout my house. My question is this, is there anything I can do do speed up iTunes itself on my PC? I currently have a very large library (42,000+ songs, 100+ HD Movies, Home Videos, etc) and I believe that is adding to my issue. I would try using another media manager such as Winamp or MediaMonkey, but then I would lose the ability to stream media to the Apple TV's. I have a powerful PC (Quad core 2.8GHz, with 8GB RAM, and a 64 Bit OS), can I possibly allocate more memory to iTunes specifically, since that's usually the only application running at any given time? Since you're not licensed, $15-20/day is fair. Daycare providers get paid less than minimum wage - usually an average of $2-4/hr. If we got paid minimum wage, no one could afford to work & put their child in daycare because a lot of people only get paid minimum wage. GTA III PC video memory problem?

okay so im setting up gta III on my fathers computer and this is what happens. i try and run it and it says that it need at least 12mb of available video memory to run. so i go into the BIOS and i allocate 128MB of memory for the video just to be sure i have enough and it still says that it needs 12 mb of available video memory even on startup before i try to run anything i try GTA III and i still get the same error. GParted Live CD won't boot!?

Hey, I'm a 14 year old boy, I'm 5'8, 120lbs, and have a 6 foot wingspan. My vertical leap is around 3ft-3ft and a half. In my last year of middle school, I missed all but 3 games due to a knee sprain and only averaged 0.0ppg 2apg and 2rpg in those two games. This summer I decided I needed more help and more exposure to competetive play since my High School is only a single A school, so I decided to join the new AAU team my hometown was putting together for the first time this year. To be honest, we suck, we have only had one tournament, and lost the first two games by 30pts or more, and won the last game by forfeit because the team we were gonna play lost 54 to 1. But anyway, in the tournament, I scored 10pts in the first game against a team called SQBA, ant then I scored 12 in my second against the "Young Ballerz" so I guess thats 11ppg, I also had 2apg and 4rpg in this tournament. So if I continue to practice my all around game, will I have any future in basketball? Like how far do you think I could get? My teamates compare me to Ray Allen because of my shooting ability, although I wasn't a three point shooter in the begining of the AAU season, just a mid-range shooter, but ever since my coach forced the three point shot on me, I went from 20% behind the line to 34%. I am also a 87% free throw shooter, but lack dribbling ability, I don't drive to the basket often, in fact, I only lay the ball in on fastbreaks, I'm not a physical player, or one of those emotional leaders that get hyped up every second, I don't block shots or steal the ball, I just play solid on ball deffense. I just adopted a Wooly Siberian Husky from a private Husky rescuer. The previous family neglected this dog and didn't provide the proper amount of exercise/training that this dog requires. He is a 5 year old male and his inner coat is matted everywhere. It's summer now and I am very worried about him not being able to cool himself down because of the poor condition of his inner coat. I went to a very reputable groomer and they recommended me to do a shave down. I know in general that you're not suppose to shave a Husky but would my dog's current condition make this an exception? I've tried combing it but its almost next to impossible because it's matted extremely bad. I even have trouble digging my finger through it to his skin. Also, the groomer said when they shave it, they also have the opportunity to remove any ticks or bugs latched onto his skin/hair. Please keep in mind I have a Wooly Siberian Husky which means he has a longer coat compared to regulars Sibes.

Well, you stated it many times it is not their fault. But their way of life is rubbing off onto you, it is not wrong in anyway, but currently it is not making you comfortable, otherwise you wouldnt have complained about it. So you are yourself going to commit to your own life style. When they say break-time, tell them you are already having coffee for the day, enjoy the break but stay away from the cookie/sugary coffee. When they cook and hand it out to you on a big plate, instead, next time, pick a smaller plate for yourself and adjust your portion. Nobody makes you eat excessively , the reason why you are eating a lot because you let yourself to be so. Now of course living with so many people where your habit may come at cross purpose with the rest of them can be a bit hard, but hey you just need to stand your ground, stay healthy is a wise decision. You still have an option to exercise which benefits your health and you may even get them to join in, group exercise is fun and productive. My dog has a plate in his leg also but the vet told me it wouldn't cause him any problems as he grew but if he ever showed signs of discomfort with that leg to bring him in. A baby hawk or bird landed on my lawn and it's injured...help?

Well first of all you might want to watch out for that hawk, because if that's not the hawk's baby, the hawk might make that bird lunch. If the bird is a young baby or if it's injured you might want to very carefully place it in a cardboard box with a couple towels and make sure it's safe and warm. Then try and call the 'animal rescuers' and then wait for them to come. If they don't come right away then try and give the bird some water and maybe some bread or whatever it eats. You can research online to try and find out what kind of bird it is. Also wash your hands if you touch the baby bird because those things can have all kinds of germs and bugs! Recently I watched an episode of Locked Up. There was a segment on the notorious 1980 New Mexico State prison riot. Due to overcrowding and many other issues, guards were taken hostage and some were brutally raped. What's worst was that inmates housed in cell block 4 (mostly informants and weak/vulnerable) were tortured, mutilated and even decapitated (blowtorch was used to cut someone's head off). I was in shock and had the same question some of the rescuers at the scene had: How could human beings possibly commit such things? Are these inmates naturally violent or did they become violent while in prison? One rescuer served in vietnam and even he said he hadn't seen something like that.

Is it OK for a nursing rabbit to use a salt lick?

My rabbit had babies not long ago (a week) and she won't eat her food. Can having hives make an allergic reaction worse?

Im a 23 yr old female. For the last 15 years I have suffered from stress hives. Not only to i breakout in hives if im nervous, excited, embarrassed or mad, but also when I get hot. my body releases histamines when I feel the lest bit of stress or heat. I found out last year that im allergic to fire ants after my face, neck, tongue and throat swell up. I just recently got bit again and was taken to the ER. It will work for very casual gaming, but since you have a gpu integrated within your cpu it wont work well with most. Well most steam games require a actually seperate gpu but it should work fine with the low octane games, and you should be able to do minecraft with med. settings without a high graphic texture pack installed. All i really know for sure, is that reguardless of the specs of the integrated gpu (even if it is really good) some games wont except it as a gpu, but then again i dont have one, so keep these thoughts in mind but dont just decide on solely this response.

I know it may sound stupid, but I had two baby squirrels for a couple of days after they fell out of a tree and I was feeding it every two hours and I became very attached to them both. My mom wasn't too happy with the idea of me being around an animal that can have many diseases, but she put up with it for a little while. Well my dog ended up getting a hold of one of them and it ended up dieing and as for the other one my mom decided to set it outside for that fact that it can be dangerous and very hard to take care of a wild animal, especially since neither one of has the time. But before that I had called many places and none of them would take it in to take care of it. Well, I finally found someone that would take it in but I got their voice mail so that's when she put it outside. Four hours later they called me back and were going to pick him up so I went outside looking for him thinking maybe he would still be alive and the ants had gotten to him. Now I just feel awful because I became so attached to both of them and was really determined to save their lives. I now feel like there was absolutely no point in taking them in in the first place. There was no point to it at all. I should have either left them their and hoped for the best(like the mother coming back) or I should have stood up for the squirrels and decided to keep them until I got a hold of someone that could take them. Im 29yrs old & always tired and lazy?

I never want to do anything. I've been like this for a little over a year, and it seems to be getting worse. All I want to do is lay around in bed, I take naps a lot throughout the day and sometimes can't fall asleep at night because of all my naps. Is this poison ivy or a spider bite?

At the beginning of the week (Monday), I notice a small bump on my ankle when I took my socks off. Thinking it was another ant bite, I scratched it a few times, then went to sleep. The next day, the 'ant' bite had spread into a rash about one inch all the way around the initial spot. Stupid me, I scratched some more, washed it, and ignored it. The next day, the rash had turned into a series of blisters and even more rash . Now the initial spot was leaking a bright yellow pus all over the place, and very painful. I also noticed two swollen spots that I hadn't noticed before that looked like spider bites. I went to the doctor, and he said that it was a spider bite, and gave me oral antibiotics. The next day, my dad told me that it was poison ivy. I'm not sure what to think now, because I'm having similar symptoms to both of them. Two off the small blisters turned into huge, ready-to-pop blisters that hurts badly. One burst, but the other one has been there for days, and hasn't yet. In fact, it's getting even bigger by the day-no exaggeration here. What do you guys think it is? Also, the other smaller blisters are getting bigger now too, and I'm afraid that they will end up as big as the first two. Help!!

Guinea Pig Vaginal Bleeding?

I rescued a female guinea pig from a hoarder about two weeks ago who said she is 1 year and 3 months old. At the time she had two babies, I do not know how old they were, they were taken by another rescuer. After cleaning her up, she seems healthy, has a good appetite, urine and stools look normal. Yesterday I was letting her walk around with my other two female guinea pigs, they got in a verbal quarrel, but did not bite each other. I have them separated obviously. Anyway I noticed a while afterwards that she had a few drops of blood, so I cleaned her cage and put her in it, after a while of spotting it stopped. Once again today, I took my 3 guinea pigs outside, all females, this time no contact with each Other. After I put her back in her cage a few hours later I noticed the same thing, spotting. It's not a stream of blood, it is not related to her urine, and she is not showing any signs of pain, just spotting that lasts an hour and then goes away. My mom thinks she is in heat, however this never happened with my other two females. Otherwise I am wondering if she was pregnant and now miscarriaging, but it doesn't seem like enough blood for that. Does anyone have any experience with this? Please do not tell me to go to a vet, I just spent a ton of money with different vets nursing my other rescue back to health. Due to finances, the vet is not an option this time. Suggestions? How about this one, Wife leaves 3 times in a 23 year marriage ?

23 year marriage, no significant problems until 5 years ago when she was told without proof, evidence, eye witness, that her husband had an affair 12 years earlier. Plus he is accused of having parties with several women at once. The wife after a month or so recognises that she has made a colossal error and returns to the husband. A month goes by when the husband returns from work one day, she notifies him she is leaving, again. Reason unclear something to do with the alleged affair. 12 years earlier, supposedly. Two months elapse when she is convinced that her husband is telling the truth, why the cold, cruel, in sensitive back stabbing attack occurred in the first place, who knows ? That's twice, fast forward 5 more years. She leaves to get milk and the next call received from her is the I'm not coming home call. To recap, Happy marriage 18 years, out side interference, first and second separation. Now its five years since the second separation over 15 years since the bs affair and the end of March 2011, she is now over 300 miles away, very little contact yet she says,please don't divorce me, and move here you can get a place and I will stay here ( with family ). I really don't have a question, I just had to tell the story...WTF ? Oh yea, the husband sort of adopted her family as his own because he didn't have his own. Now she has created such a divide that the sudo family is ice cold to him...really WTF...? Wait, I have a question, if you were the family of the wife, given a 27 year history that was all good, would you, could you, just turn you back on the husband without even a call or letter or e-mail or smoke signal..just completely ignore his calls, texts....The husband is pretty cool, always there when needed without asking and without expecting anything in return. Like that unconditional thing we hear so much about...So, is that ok or should the family have called him to see if he was ok first and second to mediate some sort of communication obviously there's a problem but after 27 years without problem's of any kind, doesn't make sense to try to work it out for a minute anyway. it's not like there was wife beating or anything that is out of ordinary. Starved Horse Rescuers?

A couple other families and mine got a barn together and have rescued 15 horses. All of them were brought back to full body weight and we are working to give them a purpose. Sadly we lost a few who lived out full and happy lives at our barn. We have two that have become dressage show horses (one up to level 2. we are so proud of him!). Four have begun doing therapy lessons for kids with disabilities. Some are just pasture pretties now, but each one is happy and healthy. I will never own a horse that isn't a rescue. They have so much more character and you form a great bond with them during rehabilitation.

My dad suffers from schizophrenia, so I know what it's like. The paranoia and hearing/seeing things are main symptoms of schizophrenia. The best thing you can do is get your parents to take you to a psychologist. I know parents aren't easy to convince of those things. How can I finally be happy?

I'm 16, stressed about school, self conscious, and unhappy. People always tell me I'm pretty but I truly don't believe them. I plan on being an animal rescuer when I grow up, but I am soooo stressed about school. I'm supposed to be writing an english paper as I'm typing this right now. I go to therapy every monday trying to deal with stress and pressure, but I don't know how well it's going because the sadness and stress never goes away. I just want to be happy with my life. I have amazing friends and a great family, but I can't stand all of the work I have to do and how bad I always feel about myself. Any suggestions?

My Neutered Boxer/Dobie Mix Got in a Big Fight With a Female Boxer/Pit Mix When Introduced?

I just got a 6 month old Brindle Female Boxer/Pit Mix She is Hyperactive and Not Fixed. My oldest I got from a Rescue His Name is "Brewski" I was told from the Rescuers that he is a fawn colored Boxer/Dobie Mix and they had to neuter him and give all his shots in order to adopt.He is 8 yrs old now.Last yr.I found him a buddy which he is also neutered too.He is an Australian Shepherd/Boxer/Bullmastiff Mix but some think he may have some pit in him too.The first day I introduced her she attacked "Brewski"after she ate her dinner, I put her on the leash and made a bed in my bathroom to calm her down.It not fair to her because she is now not with any of my male dogs.She gets along Fine with "Chance" My Mastiff Mix but I seriously don't have a clue why "Brewski" Can't like her at all,after this happened I seperated the two males and let them in the living room one at a time to be with her to see what would happen.Brewski gives her a mean and dirty look and walks away while chance wants play with her.Previous Owners told me she doesn't like when other dogs get in her food,so I guess Brewski Remembers her chopping at his throat and that when I grabbed her and placed in bathroom to confine her.I would feel so bad to give her to somebody else because taking her to a sheltor or calling animal control would put her to sleep because of her territorialness,she followed me on my 21 speed bike the other day walked 4 miles hoping maybe she would calm herself down,wrong! my best friend that in wheelchair she freaked out barked and jumped up on him like she was going to attack.Friend said this not good and maybe you should find her a new home.What Should I do? Why couldn't citizens of New Orleans handle their disaster like other people in other places?

There was similar or even worse devistation recently in Australia, Tennessee, Iowa, and Mississippi. Citizens in these places worked together and helped each other without waiting for the government to take care of everything. It really appeared to be third world with the looters firing at rescuers, etc. What was up with that place? Why is it so screwed up?

You should go directly to the school and see how things are with them. It could be that they are aware they will be having a child leave in the summer so there will be a place next year also I'd be on the phone to your councils school allocations every day asking them to sort it out. Good luck.

Well just limit the time they're around your family.Don't leave them over there too long.Make it very short and sweet.They will begin to miss them and wehn they do.Say I told you I meant business either stop drinking so much around my kids or altogether until they leave.Or have them babysit at your house until you get home.Tell them no drinks are allowed in your home until after you get there and they can go and drink at their place.Be strict and firm they will eventually get tired of your limitations.

Im 29yrs old & always tired and lazy?

I never want to do anything. I've been like this for a little over a year, and it seems to be getting worse. All I want to do is lay around in bed, I take naps a lot throughout the day and sometimes can't fall asleep at night because of all my naps. I have 4 kids who are not babies anymore, and while im in my lazy mode my husband will take care of them. I feel like I have no energy to do anything or even play with my kids,or take them to the park or pool or ride there bikes because I feel so tired. And from me feeling so tired I feel like im always sick, ill always say my stomach hurts or I have a headache or ant excuse. And im never in the mood to have sex because I feel exusted and no energy. I will be honest I don't take vitamins because im scared to swallow pills I ain't even take meds for a headache. I don't exercise. I do nothing but lay in bed and watch TV. I just stopped working 3months ago in April I got fired because I didn't want to do anything but sit around,i worked at that job for 15yrs.and I've tried to fix this problem and I can't. What can I do to fix this problem does anyone have any ideas? Please. I need to be here for my kids. I feel like that show hoarders or addicted but in a different sense im addicted to being lazy! Please someone give me some advise!

Yes it looks like the debt ceiling will be raised though I wish it wouldn't be. It is time to put an end to spending and seriously cut out waste in our government. I love my cats I have 4 . 3 of them I caught as strays and they are the most loving and affectionate cats you can find. Besides strays will just be put to sleep if caught by the humane society. The judges screwed us over?!!?

So today I competed in the HOSA CPR/First Aid Regional competitions. Since we placed first in the online competition, we were first to perform the skills. The lady I guess had never been a judge before (which is why I hate going first!!! Me and my partner had a choking patient and a patient with a broken arm).....I did everything flawlessly, except I told my partner to call 911 after I began compressions because there was so much going on and the first aid victim was screaming like a maniac (only 2 out of 90 points)....after about 3 cycles of CPR and checking the airway, the judge was like, "The object is visible".....I was like....its only been like 3 minutes.....I removed the object and did everything I was supposed to do and the judge was like, "The patient is breathing and has a pulse..." I was like....okay...so I placed the patient in a recovery position and performed a secondary survey from head to toe. Found nothing. By this time my partner was assisting me (3.5 minutes into it).....and then the judge said the EMS had arrived. It was unfair because we were supposed to do two rescuer CPR (after she handled the first aid victim) and we had 12 minutes to do so!! We finished in like 4-5 minutes and the judge didn't even give my partner a chance to assist in CPR! Her assisting is half the points. Then I learned that all the other teams finished their competitions in like 11-12 minutes and I was like, "wth?!" then I went to talk to the tabulation booth who said, "they would take it into consideration"...I would at least think they would let us restart or start from where she would assist me. We ended up getting fourth place! When we deserved first! We needed to get third to advance to state. I want to call the national hosa branch because we worked our butts off for this competition and no one is taking us seriously! I talked to my friend who was a patient and she said that me and my partner scored 4th place bcuz we didn't do two person CPR so we lost all of those points. We never even got a chance to because the judge stated that the object was visible WAY before she should have!!!! I'm so upset. I feel like a failure but it wasn't my fault.

All I can think of (since you know something about the care of cats). Why not find some good books on how to - and just to brush up on simple things to do with the care etc. I'd NEVER allow any of my cats (over these past 30 + yrs) to go outside. Again things like what you need to know for him, are really important and I believe you need a lot more info. before taking on this cat. Around 8 months they are "teenagers"! So good luck with your "homework" and I hope everything turns out BETTER than you ever hoped it would. That's my wish for you & your family. Until you are sure about the interactions between your dog and your daughter. Never leave them alone, at least for the first month; better safe than sorry. Right. Should people have a baby if you have allot of ducks, chickens and birds?

one day i want to live as an animal rescuer, and keep domesticated ducks, chickens and birds. i wouldnt want them to feel left out and they are social anyway. i would diaper the ducks and let all the animals all over the house. even the nursery. i dont think feathered/fluffy famity members should have "privlages" to enter a nursery. i think baby ducklings, chicks and birds should spesially be in a nursery because they are babies too. i think it would be cool to have exotic birds with your children. they are all part of the family and i love them all the same. i also heard that kids should be around other animals at a young age. PS love all animals, animals are pretty in their own way not "ugly", and humans are animals too!
