Digital pregnancy tests?

my girlfriend has had 3 pregnancy tests in the last week that have all showed up after the allocated amount of time a faint line which has some pink in it, so we are going to retest on thursday morning with a digital pregnancy test, and are wondering if the test will pick up it up, even if it is early and the pregnancy hormone isn't that high?
